How to feed anomalies in Raise an Anomaly is the third official verb: “Feed baby anomalies to level them up.” If you still have an egg, go back to hatch. This guide assumes a baby is on the plot.
Feeding is the growth button. Merge is not feeding. Codes are not feeding until the reward item is actually used as food.
Use the food you can see
Official art puts a steak in front of a pale baby. The in-game shop may use other SKUs. Buy whatever the Food Shop is selling, then interact with the baby.
Stand in the lab while you feed. A steal mid-animation is how people think feeding “is broken.”
Fairy Cake
If you redeemed FAIRY, you have 1 Fairy Cake. Use it as food. We do not know its XP. It is not a merge key unless a later UI says so.
Do not hold the cake forever “for later.” A cake in the backpack while a baby sits unfed is a wasted code.
Stock and the pass that doubles it
Community shops list burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and Eyeball Soup. Restock before a long zone run or the plot idles.
X2 FOOD STOCK would double stock if it were for sale. On 16 September 2026 it was not. Play as if stock is finite.

What levelling looks like
Official art shows Level 1 / 50 / 99999, Age 1 / 100, and Day 01 / 100. Your HUD may use one of those words. Any of them going up means feeding is working.
Cash should rise after levels. If it does not, you have a collect-cash problem, not a food problem. The AUTO COLLECT pass is also off-sale.
Success test
You are done when the baby has taken food and the lab is producing money you can spend on Speed or the next egg.
If you want a second species, steal again. Feeding does not hatch a second anomaly.
